Cycle for Charity

TARGET ACHIEVED!!!! 

UPDATE: I am pleased to say I have achieved my target of 3000 miles even though I had some challenges not including the British weather.  On 13 June 2024 while out cycling I was knocked over by a hit and run driver, I suffered multiple injuries, and my bike was written off.  If it wasn't for the guys I was cycling with "Kashif, Manohar & Richard" the driver would have gotten away (thank you guys, I will never forget your support).    On 19/11/24 I received news that the driver has been banned from driving for 6 months + fines.

With the help of the legal team I instructed, I was back in the saddle with a new bike in July 2024 and managed to continue to cycle towards my target which was achieved in October 2024.   A special thank you to the members of the SCC and BOBS cycling groups for sharing their knowledge, making me a better rider and letting me tag along.  

After the accident I invested in some cycling cameras which have helped capture some amazing video footage.  I have shared some of my memorable rides at the bottom of the page, hope you enjoy watching them as much as I enjoyed making them.

For those that know me cycling and charity work are two of my passions.  In 2022  I was in a cycling accident which affected my right leg and hip.  I had difficulty walking, sitting, standing and spent most of my time indoors.  

In June 2023 I challenged myself to cycle 1000 miles by December and hit the target by October and raised around £1000, in 2024 I am pushing it even further and aiming to cycle 3000 miles.

If everyone sponsors me 1p per mile, it will make a massive difference to those in need.
